Frankie Sunswept & the Sliver Moons

NYC psych rock six piece Frankie Sunswept & The Sliver Moons brings melodic vocal harmonies, playful time signatures, and polyrhythmic percussion to an eclectic blend of garage rock, psych pop, and world music.

Their debut album Nostalgia is inspired by Ethio-jazz, 60s psychedelia, Nigerian desert rock, Krautrock, Bolivian folk music, proto-punk, thrash metal, and prog rock. Both contemplative and celebratory, motorik and melancholy, the album is a time capsule dealing with themes of collective memory, climate change, grief and resilience, mythology, science fiction, loving kindness, and compassion. Each song seamlessly flows into the next, creating an infinite loop that echoes the album’s theme of the circular nature of time.

Formed in 2024, the band consists of Frankie Sunswept, Kimberly Haven, Angela Carlucci, Tom Beuchel, Sam Harmet, and Jordan Auber.

Frankie Sunswept is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer born in Los Angeles, CA and currently based in NYC. Since 2003 he has released original music under Frank Hoier, Crushed Out, and now Frankie Sunswept & the Sliver Moons. Since 2018 he has released dozens of singles, 3 albums, and an EP, including Turning (2021), Frankie Sunswept & The Sunwrays (2022), and Pink Noise (2023). His 4th album Nostalgia released 02/14/2024.
